  • Sometimes people just need somewhere to talk about the things they are not able to with the people in their daily lives.

As a trained and licensed mental health professional, I provide a confidential and non-judgemental space to tackle emotional, behavioral, and relational issues that are getting you down. We will work toward gaining insight into your thoughts and feelings, trends in your life, develop boundaries and coping strategies, and identify and work toward your personal goals.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic model developed by Richard C. Schwartz in the 1980s which has gained great popularity in the past decade.

IFS is based on the concept that the mind is made up of different "parts," each with its own perspectives, emotions, and roles, and that these parts can be organized into a system similar to a family dynamic, similar to the plot of the Inside Out movies.

The model is recognized by organizations such as the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine (NICABM) for its innovative approach to therapy.

As a Certified IFS Therapist, I can help you explore and regulate your own, unique inner world.

  • Developed by Francine Shapiro in the late 1980s, EMDR is an evidence-based treatment modality widely used to target symptoms of trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

EMDR is distinct from traditional talk therapies as it is a structured processing of traumatic memories using bilateral stimulation such as eye moevements, auditory, or tactile methods. Instead simply talking about traumas, which can be overwhelming and looping, EMDR provides a structured, phase-oriented, and effective alternative.

Due to extensive research, EMDR is recognized by organizations like the American Psychological Association and the World Health Organization as an effective treatment for trauma.

  • Grief has endless origins, including anticipatory grief, death of a loved one, pet loss, an estranged family member, the end of a relationship, and job loss. It can be incredibly isolating, and impact ones life and mental health in a multitude of ways.

Research shows that professional support can significantly improve outcomes for individuals experiencing grief, helping them to process their complex emotions, reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, and smooth the adjustment to loss.

  • “One of the main obstacles to self-compassion is that, by itself, the idea is too vague. It’s not enough to be “nicer” to yourself. You need to ask the question, “Who’s being compassionate to whom."

    Dick Schwartz, Founder of IFS

  • “The beauty of EMDR is that it transforms the way individuals relate to their traumatic memories, allowing them to move forward in their lives.”

    Francine Shapiro, Founder of EMDR

  • “Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith... It is the price of love.”

David Kessler, Grief and Loss Expert

  • "You either walk inside your story and own it or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness."

    Brené Brown

  • “Each person’s grief is as unique as their fingerprint. But what everyone has in common is that no matter how they grieve, they share a need for their grief to be witnessed."

David Kessler, Grief & Loss Expert

  • "The goal of EMDR treatment is to rapidly metabolize the dysfunctional residue from the past and transform it into something useful."

    Francine Shapiro, Founder of EMDR

  • “…today more than 20 scientifically controlled studies of EMDR have proven its effectiveness in the treatment of traumatic and other disturbing life experiences.”

    Francine Shapiro, Founder of EMDR

  • "IFS is supported by a growing body of research demonstrating its effectiveness in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression, showing that individuals can achieve profound healing through this evidence-based approach."

    Richard Schwartz, Founder of IFS
